Sharon Marro
Sharon Marro has called Belle Mead home since 1998. As a proud parent of two Montgomery Township School District graduates, her dedication to local education is both personal and proven.
Sharon’s career in the district spans nearly every level of school operations. She began as a substitute teacher before becoming a paraprofessional at both the Lower and Upper Middle Schools, working directly with diverse student populations to support classroom success. She later served as a clerk in the Upper Middle School Main Office and Media Center before advancing to Accounts Payable/Bookkeeper in the Board Office. Demonstrating her deep commitment to leadership, Sharon earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership while working full time.
From the classroom to the central office, Sharon understands how our schools run from the ground up. She brings a 360-degree perspective to board governance—balancing fiscal responsibility with empathy for students, parents, and educators. Sharon is committed to ensuring every Montgomery student learns in a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous environment where they can thrive.
